"For Tomorrow" Foundation invites the inhabitants of the village of Dolni Rakovets to the carnival flashmob "Dance Walk"

On March 30 (Sunday) at 18:00 "For Tomorrow" Foundation invites the residents and guests of the village of Dolni Rakovets to participate in a carnival flashmob "Dance Walk". It will take place in the village square and is part of the project "INnate' ART INclusion - Innovative Art Tools for Social and Labour Inclusion" - a training programme for youth workers, funded by the European Erasmus+ programme, aimed at the social and labour inclusion of young people with intellectual difficulties. 


The innovative flashmob "Dance Walk" will be a kind of carnival and will officially launch the first project of the year of the Foundation "For Tomorrow" on the territory of the village Dolni Rakovets. At 15:00 dance lessons will be held, and at 17:00 all those who wish will make their own artistic costume with handicrafts - old clothes, fabrics, paints and recyclable materials. At 18:00 everyone will dance together under the guidance of Irina Stoyanova - a young dancer with experience in various performances and original projects. After making their own carnival costume the young people will join a Dance Class where they will learn different movement techniques, concepts and sculptures. Other art forms and expressive media will be integrated to dance: use of voice, speech, singing during movement, sound environment, movement painting, texts.

 

The fun workshop will cover a variety of dance topics: positioning in space, leading body parts, pulse delivery, rhythms, playing with tempo, interpretation of different sound environments, imagery, qualities of movement, natural elements and elements characters and actors (archetypes, professions, animals, insects, fairy tale creatures).

The activities of the team of the Foundation "For Tomorrow", Blagoevgrad are aimed at improving the quality of life of people with special educational needs and their integration into society as equal members. For Tomorrow Foundation promotes the exchange of information, good practices, experience, awareness and support for families in order to enable them to stimulate their child's development despite the medical and social challenges they face.
