Green INclusion - Environmental practices for social and labour inclusion of young people with intellectual disabilities

The project is aimed at young people aged 18-30 who want to connect and interact better with nature, learn ecological farming and construction, learn basic camping skills; apply green and environmentally sustainable methods in their interactions with young people with intellectual disabilities.
Inclusive nature activities offer a wealth of social and mental health benefits not only for youth with special needs, but for all young people. By addressing social barriers and informal peer education methods, we can create more welcoming, engaging and empowering experiences for all. By applying green and environmentally sustainable methods in our interactions with young people with intellectual disabilities, we can help them recover and support their active inclusion. Through this youth exchange project, we will connect young people with and without intellectual disabilities to experience nature, learn about the environment and green living, and develop important green skills.
